ASR have been successfully building integrated amplifiers, pre amplifiers, and phono pre-amplifiers since 1980. The concept for their integrated amplifiers is totally different from all other integrated amplifiers.
Friedrich Schaefer, owner and head of development at ASR, has a very definite idea of how an amplifier should sound: musical reproduction should be completely homogeneous and natural.
ASR has only one goal: combining the harmony and musicality of a superb tube amplifier with the accuracy and effective power distribution of modern transistor amplifiers.
With concentration on the essential and neutral, ergonomic design which is user friendly, ASR create timeless products that represent an outstanding value.
All units are hand-made in Herborn, Germany, by fully trained craftsman.
